WEDGE FORCE Keemun is a virtual instrument plugin developed by WEDGE FORCE. It enables keyboardists to produce realistic, expressive bass guitar performances directly within their digital audio workstations (DAWs). Keemun emulates the sound of a professionally recorded bass direct input (DI), allowing for the creation of authentic bass lines without the need for a physical bass guitar.

• Real-Time Synthesis: Utilizes the proprietary “Synthetic Force Engine II” to combine studio-sampled waveforms of iconic custom-made basses with real-time synthesized sounds, capturing the nuances of live bass performances.

• Expressive Articulations: Supports a range of playing techniques, including finger-plucking, slapping, popping, fingernail picking, and more, allowing for dynamic and expressive bass lines.

• Variable String Damping: Offers control over string muting, from fully open to heavily muted, using the sustain pedal of a MIDI keyboard.

• Neck Play Position: Allows selection of different neck positions across all four strings, providing tonal variations for identical notes played on different frets.

• Real-Time Note Detune: Introduces slight pitch variations to add realism to the performance.

• Low Latency and CPU Usage: Optimized for near-zero latency responsiveness and low CPU load, making it suitable for live performances and complex productions.

• MIDI CC Integration: Enables control of various parameters through MIDI Continuous Controller (CC) messages, facilitating real-time adjustments during performances.
