Revert is a unique delay/reverb hybrid that breaks the fixed-rate echo model.

Design flexible, intricate, and evolving ripples with fluid and expressive controls, it allows you to manipulate the entire lifespan of the echo tail in an instant.

A TIME MACHINE, BUT FOR AUDIO

While you might have seen other delay effects use such a description, Revert actually means it.

It's a dynamic real-time convolution engine that acts like a literal 'time machine,' it manipulates audio in ways that traditional, linear delays and reverbs simply cannot.

Most delays just have each repeat as a consequence of the last, but Revert treats every single echo as separate entity.

Oh, and also, you can change a parameter and hear the effects retroactively across the entire tail. It’s super trippy, but it works.

WHAT DOES “IGNORING ENTROPY“ MEAN?

  • Elastic Time: Reflections can be stretched out and get exponentially longer. or shorter, even collapsing into a "time-singularity”.

  • Warping Stereo: You can change the stereo offset for every subsequent repeat, causing the tail spiral wider apart or tighten together.

  • Evolving Tone: Instead of a simple, accumulating filter. You can restore the high-frequency content by opening the filter back up.

  • Non-Locality: Reflections can have their energy spread out into a reverb, becoming more diffused, or get sharper and cleaner over time.

The Core Temporal Controls define the base characteristics of your first reflection, but the Skew controls instantly revoke those laws.

The heart of Revert is the Skew knob for each core parameter (Time, Feedback, Damp, Shift, and Blur). Skew controls how that parameter changes as the delay tail unfolds.

Think of it this way: Skew acts in a dimension perpendicular to time. A sound input just now can have crisp reflections, while an earlier input might be washed-out into a reverb.

Customize the noise used to smear the reflections with Blur

Character injects unique analog imperfections, simulating a tape machine, a mic, or a speaker cabinet.

Reverse introduces a look-ahead so the tail can be reversed and build up to the input.

Freeze works in a distinct way from other delays - it mixes the tail in with the loop, creating a swell of sound without an uncontrollable feedback loop, though the output level may still increase.

What do you say? Wanna turn an average delay into a growing, spiraling, reverse reverb?
